Following a history marred by alchemy's misuse in warfare, pushing humanity to the brink of destruction, a fragile peace was brokered amongst the nations, banning alchemy for centuries. However, in the year 911 of the Continental Calendar, Lustrice shattered this peace by harnessing alchemy for military might, sparking a bid for dominance over the continent. In response, Envylia and five other nations formed an alliance to quash Lustrice's ambitions, plunging alchemy back into obscurity. Yet, two decades later, the forbidden art resurfaces, casting a shadow of turmoil once more across the land.
