Journey: Taiko Arabia Hantou de no Kiseki to Tatakai no Monogatari
Venturing from the southern regions of the Arabian Peninsula, the renowned General Abraha embarks on a conquest towards the sacred city of Mecca with his formidable army in tow. Their ultimatum is stark: Mecca's submission, its populace's enslavement, and the annihilation of the revered Kaaba. Despite counsel advising retreat for survival, a handful of valiant Meccan warriors opt to stand their ground. Among these brave souls stands Aws Ibn Jubair, a once-wayward potter who embraced a life of virtue and devotion. As the enemy forces draw near under the cover of night, the outnumbered defenders of Mecca rally to bolster their spirits. The arrival of an unexpected figure, the irreligious mercenary Zurara—once a companion of Aws in darker times—adds a twist to the unfolding narrative. Initially motivated solely by sustenance and compensation, Zurara's exposure to Aws' transformative journey towards faith kindles a newfound purpose in safeguarding Mecca. Anticipating the imminent clash of arms, the two erstwhile comrades set aside past grievances to shield the land and beliefs that offer them redemption and absolution.
