From the celestial Chaos Pearl come two powerful entities: the Spirit Pearl and the Demon Orb. The Spirit Pearl is sent to Earth by the divine Lord to be reborn as Ne Zha, the youngest son of Li Jing, whereas the Demon Orb is meant to be obliterated by lightning. However, a treacherous plot by the Dragon King results in Ne Zha inheriting both pearls. Bound by the Demon Orb's malevolent influence, Ne Zha grows up believing he is destined to be a legendary demon slayer as foretold by the Spirit Pearl. Struggling with his inner turmoil and playful tendencies, Ne Zha faces a crucial choice: embrace his supposed wicked destiny or defy it to prove his worthiness of the promising future his parents envisioned.
