After overcoming his past inner demons, Daigo Shigeno steps into the role of captain for Fuurin Private Academy Middle School's baseball team. With his childhood friend Mutsuko Sakura by his side, Daigo strives to guide the team to success. However, a twist of fate leaves the team with just six members, including Daigo, Mutsuko, Yayoi Sawa, Tao Sagara, Seira Kandori, and Hiromu Tanba. Tasked with mentoring new additions like Akira Nishina, Anita Kabashima, and Chisato Fujii, who struggle with trust and skill, the predominantly female team faces challenges ranging from a lack of a proper coach to internal conflicts. As they prepare for their inaugural tournament, Daigo's leadership is put to the ultimate test in uniting the team against all odds.
