After spending most of her life in Africa, Rinku Aimoto returns to Japan and enrolls at Yoba Academy, renowned for its DJ units comprising DJs, vocalists, and dancers. Under the guidance of aspiring DJ Maho Akashi, Rinku learns the ropes of DJing. Witnessing a performance by the famous Peaky P-key unit, the duo is inspired to create their own group. They invite Rinku's childhood friend, the skilled artist Muni Oonaruto, and the gentle pianist Rei Togetsu to join them. Together as Happy Around, the unit combines their talents and bonds to strive for greatness in the world of DJing.
