Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amou, the famous Zwei Wing idol pair, utilize their music to wield ancient symphogears against the dangerous alien Noise threat. Despite the public's awareness of the Noise, the symphogears remain a hidden secret. During an attack on their concert, Kanade sacrifices herself to save young Hibiki Tachibana, embedding a piece of her symphogear within Hibiki. After two years, Hibiki is thrust back into battle against the Noise. Rescuing a stranded girl triggers Kanade's symphogear power within her. Tsubasa mourns Kanade's loss but must now unite with Hibiki to protect humanity using their intertwined abilities.
