Satou, consumed by conspiracy theories and social fears, lives in a chaotic world of paranoia. His apartment is a mess of take-out remnants, and his eyes bear the marks of excessive internet indulgence. Blaming the elusive N-H-K for society's ills, Satou is trapped in a cycle of fear and isolation. Along comes Misaki, a enigmatic neighbor determined to rescue Satou from his self-imposed exile. Despite her efforts to help him confront his fears, Satou prefers hiding in his virtual world, avoiding reality.
