Kaede Wakamiya, a member of the Koi-Ken Love Research club, offhandedly remarks on the simplicity of being an idol, much to the annoyance of Nagisa Toyama, an actual idol. Following a proposal from Nagisa's manager, all the female club members are offered the chance to form an idol group with Nagisa. Through this experience, Kaede discovers the challenges and complexities of the idol world, leading her to reconsider her initial assumptions.
