Nozomi Onda, a gifted player who excelled in a boys' soccer club, finds herself hesitant to join a girls' team, fearing it may limit her prowess. On the other hand, Sumire Suou, a talented newcomer restrained by her team's capabilities, dreams of surpassing her current constraints. Encouraged by a former coach, Onda reluctantly joins the girls' soccer club at Warabi Seinan High School, where she encounters Suou and her competitive ally Midori Soshizaki.
