Despite initial bravado, Keldeo realizes its inadequacy for the looming confrontation. Meanwhile, Satoshi and companions traverse the Unova region and encounter an injured Keldeo. Simultaneously, Kyurem embarks on a destructive rampage, siphoning energy from other Legendary Pokémon and unsettling the region's delicate equilibrium.
