Anime Koukyoushi: Jungle Taitei
OVA
adventure
Isao Tomita originally composed music for Jungle Emperor in 1965, which later evolved into a symphonic poem, a musical narrative form. Tezuka Productions in 1991 reversed the usual process by creating new animation to accompany this symphonic poem, depicting the storyline of the initial Kimba episode. The animation showcases the peaceful animal kingdom ruled by Panja, the arrival of hunters, Eliza's capture, Panja's demise, and Kimba's birth and escape to Africa, all conveyed without dialogue. The animation's style, reminiscent of the 1989 TV series, presents a unique depiction of Kimba distinct from other adaptations.
