Despite their initial success, procrastination rears its head, causing a lively disturbance for Natsumi. In a separate event, Natsumi seeks permission from teacher Kazuho Miyauchi to establish and supervise a new badminton club at school. Despite facing financial and equipment hurdles, Natsumi and her friends rally, seeking aid from the local candy store proprietor, Kaede Kagayama. Amid impromptu badminton drills, a minor mishap prompts Kaede to reflect on a cherished memory from her time babysitting Renge Miyauchi.
