After enduring countless sorrowful events, the immortal Fushi retreats to an island to avoid the malevolent Nokkers. Unexpectedly, the Nokkers shift their strategy, targeting nearby settlements to draw him out of seclusion. Encountering the Guardians, led by Hisame, a descendant of the late warrior Hayase, Fushi's past heroism on Janada Island sparks hope and unity among the group, gaining them global acclaim. Reluctantly, Fushi allows the Guardians to join him in confronting the Nokkers' recent assault. Amidst new and familiar faces in the village, Fushi forges crucial alliances.
