Takina Inoue, a skilled and dedicated Lycoris, faces a turning point when a hostage crisis leads to her expulsion from DA. Reluctantly transitioning to a new assignment at LycoReco, a covert cafe, Takina is paired with the enigmatic Chisato Nishikigi, a renowned Lycoris with a carefree attitude towards their deadly profession. As Chisato introduces Takina to a world beyond violence by engaging in altruistic missions, Takina struggles to reconcile her desire to return to DA with Chisato's philosophy of compassion and non-lethal solutions.
