Keitarou Gentouga, with a cursed right hand from a haunting past, embarks on a normal college life until encouraged by his friend Eiko to become a tutor. His first student, Yayoi Houzuki, possesses a unique ability to see vengeful spirits and seeks their exorcism since her parents' tragic death. Yayoi enlists Keitarou's help, drawing him into a perilous journey to confront malevolent spirits. Despite the risks, Keitarou hesitantly joins her, facing his wavering determination with each spirit encounter.
