In the year 1999, a crisis befalls Earth as the planet Lar Metal draws near. Yukino Yayoi, a junior high school teacher with a deep interest in astronomy, learns about Lar Metal's approach from Dr. Amamori at the Tokyo Observatory. Little did anyone know, Yukino Yayoi is actually Queen Millennia, who arrived from Lar Metal a millennium ago to observe humanity. As meteors shower the Earth, causing chaos, one of Yayoi's students named Hajime steps up to assist her. Together, they seek refuge in a vast underground cave.
