Kiri Haimura's odd fascination with cutting hair drives him to search for a ghost rumored to dwell in an abandoned hilltop house. Instead of a specter, he encounters Iwai Mushanokouji, known as the 'Hair Queen' with uncuttable hair due to a family curse. Iwai reveals a deadly game around her where wielders of cursed objects, 'Killing Goods,' can have their wishes granted by killing her. Armed with his ancestor's murderous scissors, 'The Severing Crime Edge,' Kiri protects Iwai from other Killing Goods users. Amidst a dangerous quest to free Iwai from her curse, they face numerous adversaries vying to end the Hair Queen's life, testing Kiri's resolve in a perilous battle for survival.
