In a distant future reminiscent of Earth, a once war-torn planet now experiences fleeting peace. In the aftermath, the farmers of Kanna Village face a grim reality of starvation and abductions by ruthless mechanized bandits known as Nobuseri. To safeguard their home, the village's water priestess Kirara, her sister Komachi, and a grief-stricken villager named Rikichi embark on a perilous journey to recruit samurai for protection. Armed only with rice from their meager fields, they traverse treacherous paths and stroke of luck brings together a diverse group of seven skilled samurai. Together, they prepare for a monumental showdown against the menacing bandits and the forces that control them.
