When ordinary high schooler Hitomi Kanzaki witnesses a boy named Van Fanel vanquishing a dragon under a starry night, she is unexpectedly whisked away to the mystical realm of Gaea. There, she learns of Van's royal heritage as they face the wrath of the Zaibach empire threatening their world. Teaming up with the gallant knight Allen Schezar, who bears a striking resemblance to her Earthly crush, Hitomi and Van strive to thwart Zaibach's nefarious plans to awaken an ancient force, rallying allies for their cause in a desperate bid for survival.
