Enrolling at Jougaouka High School to be close to his childhood crush, Masami Shibata (Ma-chan), Atsushi Arisawa is in for a surprise. Mistaking Masayoshi, Masami's brother and the new nurse, for his crush, Atsushi is initially shocked by the apparent change in Masami's demeanor. Amidst his friend Kouji Inagaki's persistent romantic advances, Atsushi's days at Jougaoka become a nightmare. However, as he starts to see the positive aspects of the 'new' Ma-chan, Atsushi begins to question his feelings. The revelation that Masayoshi is not Masami brings a new twist to Atsushi's tumultuous high school life.
