While moving to a new house, 10-year-old Chihiro Ogino's family stumbles upon an abandoned amusement park. Curiosity leads them to explore the park, unaware that it is actually inhabited by spirits who emerge only at night. When Chihiro's parents consume food from a mysterious eatery, vengeful spirits transform them into pigs. To make matters worse, a formidable barrier separates the human realm from the spirit world, leaving Chihiro stranded as the lone human among spirits. Fortunately, a enigmatic boy named Haku emerges, claiming a connection to her past. Following his guidance, Chihiro secures employment at the bathhouse where Haku is employed. Armed with bravery and newfound companions, Chihiro sets off on a quest to restore her parents' humanity and find her way back home.
