A mysterious phone number leads to an encounter with the self-proclaimed 'Delivery God,' Yato, a deity without followers or a shrine. His mundane life of odd jobs for pocket change takes a turn when his weapon partner deserts him. Salvation comes in the form of Hiyori Iki, a schoolgirl who saves him from a life-threatening accident but ends up with her soul in flux. To restore her, Yato must find a new partner, and with Hiyori's assistance, his fortunes might just shift for the better.
