Aomatsu, a regular otaku in middle school, seeks excitement by venturing to the school's rooftop, where he encounters the enigmatic Tomoko Kuroki, known for her eccentric ways. Their initial meeting sparks a fascination in Aomatsu, prompting him to revisit the spot repeatedly to engage with Tomoko. Yet, their perspectives diverge, resulting in contrasting recollections of their interactions and shared moments.
