After the fall of the oppressive Taboo Emperor, a former warrior named Tooru Acura struggles to find his place in a newfound era of peace. His life takes a sudden turn when he crosses paths with Chaika Trabant, a mysterious white-haired Wizard on a mission to gather her father's scattered remains. Tooru and his sister Akari are enlisted to aid Chaika, but they soon find themselves pursued by agents of the Council of Six Nations.
