Hanayamata
Naru Sekiya, a 14-year-old high school student, feels inadequate compared to the fairy tale princesses she admires and the ideal girl she aspires to be among her peers. While her childhood friends pursue their passions in music and student council activities, Naru yearns for the courage to unlock her shy heart. One fateful night, she encounters a charming fairy-like figure on a torii gate, only to discover the next day that this 'fairy' is a spirited American transfer student, Hana N. Fountainstand. Drawn by Hana's passion for yosakoi, a traditional Japanese dance form, Naru is reluctantly pulled into forming a yosakoi club with her. Despite her initial fear and self-doubt, Naru gradually embraces the joy of yosakoi and joins Hana in striving to realize her dream, learning that a maiden's journey is as unpredictable as the wind.
