In the quirky comedy Gugure! Kokkuri-san, Kohina Ichimatsu, a self-proclaimed doll, leads a mundane existence until she accidentally invokes Kokkuri-san, a fox spirit. However, Kokkuri-san, far from the all-powerful being of lore, finds himself weakened in a world devoid of believers. Surprised by Kohina's solitary lifestyle surviving on cup ramen, he takes on the role of caretaker, striving to improve her well-being and bring a semblance of normalcy to their unusual cohabitation.
