Branded as a conceited young calligrapher, Seishuu Handa faces a rude awakening when his work is criticized as unoriginal. To teach him humility and spur personal growth, his father banishes him to the remote Goto Islands, far from his urban comforts. In this rustic backdrop, Seishuu strives to rediscover his artistic flair, all while contending with a lively bunch including the spirited Naru Kotoishi and a meddlesome community.
