When Masami is incapacitated, Nozomi embarks on a quest to fulfill Masami's duties, encountering Yukina Kosaka, a directionally challenged introvert; Ai Hibiki, a joyful food enthusiast; and Chiaya Misono, a enigmatic figure veiled in a gas mask. Bound by their journey, the quartet traverses the nation on motorcycles, entangling themselves in territorial disputes, conflicts, and clandestine machinations.
