Junketsu no Maria
In medieval France amid the tumult of the Hundred Years' War, Maria, a formidable young witch accompanied by her two familiars, grows disillusioned by the conflict's toll on the innocent. Determined to halt the bloodshed, she wields her magical abilities to broker peace. However, her altruistic efforts draw the attention of the heavens, with the archangel Michael dispatched to restrain her from intervening in mortal affairs. Confronted by the celestial envoy, Maria is sternly warned that her powers will be stripped if she relinquishes her chastity. Branded a heretic yet unwavering, Maria defies Michael's edict and persists in disrupting the war between France and England. Yet, as the Church schemes to nullify her influence and end her pacifist endeavors, Maria's quest for harmony hangs in precarious balance.
