One summer day, a boy hears joyful bells ringing in the mountain near his home. Years later, the mushishi Ginko encounters a peculiar girl with weeds sprouting from her body in that very mountain. By chance, Ginko meets the grown-up boy Yoshiro, who aids in unraveling the identity and past of this mysterious girl. In Mushishi Zoku Shou: Suzu no Shizuku, an adaptation of the manga's final arc, Ginko embarks on a unique journey through the supernatural to solve the enigma surrounding Kaya, the enigmatic girl, and the mountain that has become her sanctuary.
