As the summer draws to a close following the Inter-high competition, Sakamichi, alongside Imaizumi Shunsuke and Naruko Shoukichi, dedicates himself to rigorous training. He aims to uphold the teamwork ethos passed down by the departing third-years Kinjou Shingo, Makishima Yusuke, and Tadokoro Jin from Team Sohoku. Amidst this, an unexpected opportunity arises – Team Sohoku is invited to the prestigious Kumamoto Fire Country Mountain Race, reserved for top performers from the Inter-high.
