Captain Tsubasa follows the story of Tsubasa Oozora, an 11-year-old boy whose world revolves around soccer. With a burning passion for the game since childhood, Tsubasa moves to Nankatsu city to pursue his soccer dreams in a more competitive environment. In this new city, he faces tough opponents and forms valuable friendships with Sanae Nakazawa and Genzo Wakabayashi, a skilled goalkeeper who shares his dedication. Tsubasa's ultimate goal is to represent Japan in the FIFA World Cup, but achieving this dream will require more than just raw talent.
