Beneath the shadowy underbelly of Lux, a city entrenched in fear and misery, criminal factions reign supreme. Isolated from the surface world, these gangs mine a rare substance called 'raffia,' pivotal for 'texhnolyze' implants that allow for seamless cybernetic enhancements. Lux's delicate equilibrium is disrupted when an enigmatic figure, Kazuho Yoshii, incites turmoil among the factions with a string of criminal acts. Amidst the turmoil, new players step onto the stage: Ichise, a former boxer transformed by Organo through texhnolyze; and Ran, a visionary florist with unique abilities. As chaos grips Lux and the city hurtles towards madness, Ichise and Ran become entwined in a crisis of unprecedented proportions, challenging Lux to its core.
