When Sunao Moriyama stumbles upon a peculiar and adorable creature, Potemayo, he befriends it and it becomes his constant companion, perched on his head. This newfound friend attracts the gaze of his entire school class. Before long, another creature, Guchuko, makes an entrance, christened by a fellow classmate. Yet, unlike the amiable Potemayo, Guchuko exudes a different aura.
