Yobi, The Five Tailed Fox follows the story of a unique kumiho, a mythical fox with the ability to transform into different forms, including that of a human. Unlike the typical nine-tailed fox known for luring humans, our protagonist is a compassionate young fox with just five tails. After a tragic loss to fox hunters, Yobi finds solace in the company of stranded aliens deep in the forest, far from human settlements. However, when one of her alien companions is captured by a villager, Yobi embarks on a daring journey into the human world to rescue him. In the village, she encounters a diverse group of humans, including Geum Yee, a student at a school for troubled children. Fascinated by Geum Yee, Yobi immerses herself in the human experience, embracing the joys of friendship and discovery. Yet, her newfound happiness is threatened by both a relentless fox hunter and a shadowy figure hot on her heels.
