When Hayato, a soccer lover, and his musician girlfriend Yumi stumble into Dr. Leonard's lab, they inadvertently trigger the Tondekeman, a chatty kettle that whisks them back centuries in time. Stranded in Baghdad, the pair crosses paths with Aladdin, Prince Dandarn, and Princess Shalala, along with the devious Abdullah, intent on marrying off the princess. Their journey unfolds across various eras and places, encountering historical and literary icons while pursuing Abdullah through time. Trapped in the past, Hayato and Yumi must reclaim Tondekeman from Abdullah's clutches to find their way back.
