In Kenya, Jackie Roads befriends and nurtures a sick Bushbaby named Murphy before embarking on thrilling escapades with her family and friends, facing wild animals and poachers. When her father is called back to England, Jackie must bid farewell to Africa. Determined to ensure Murphy's survival, Jackie, along with her father's friend Tembo, braves the perilous savannah to outwit pursuers. Through their final journey, Jackie imparts survival skills to Murphy, preparing him for his return to the wild before her departure.
