In the tranquil and joyous land of Faaren, a wise King governs harmoniously until the malevolent Demon Lord Ackdam invades with his dark armies and fearsome dragon. Tragedy strikes as the King falls in battle, and the Queen is taken captive. However, the King's son, Sirius, is whisked to safety and matures into a formidable warrior under the guidance of Rias, his father's faithful aide, learning the arts of swordplay and knighthood.
