After eons of captivity on the moon for his treachery against Yggdrasil, the deity Celestin is freed by the fairy Morgan Le Fey. His return to Earth is driven by a desire to reconnect with his ex-student, the divine Belldandy. However, his plans take a dark turn when he wipes Belldandy's recollection of her beloved Keiichi and manipulates her to sow chaos across Earth and Yggdrasil.
