In a world thrown off balance by the loss of vast woodlands and the spread of endless deserts, humans seek refuge in Meshichi, coexisting with Anbots. By a twist of fate, Sanzou, a mysterious young man, crosses paths with Gokyuu, the formidable and notorious Anbot. Joined by Tongoh, a drinking-loving Anbot, Jou, a skilled mechanic, Suuji, a female Anbot thief, and the enigmatic Mioto, they embark on a journey towards the boundless East, the birthplace of the sun.
