In the small village of Jimuna, situated on the continent of Jamu Jamu, resides Kukuri, the last descendant of the Migu Migu Tribe. Raised by an elderly witch who imparts the tribe's mystical secrets, Kukuri struggles as a novice. Meanwhile, nearby lives Nike, a boy raised under strict guidance by his parents to become the village's valiant hero, a role he shies away from. Despite his reluctance, Nike matures into a formidable youth. When the village king, Kodai, rallies troops to combat the dark ruler Giri, both Kukuri and Nike join the cause.
