Varanoir unfolds its tale within the walls of a magical institution bearing the same name. This academy, a hub for war preparations against the devil master, hosts students honing their skills for the impending conflict. At the core of the narrative is Myu, the granddaughter of the esteemed swordsman Jii. Despite Jii's current occupation as a humble chimney cleaner in Varanoir, he imparts his profound swordsmanship knowledge to Myu. Motivated by a desire to grow into a formidable warrior, Myu embarks on a journey to Varanoir for intensive training. Within the academy, Myu encounters Ryuto, a gifted student whose perspective casts Myu as a perpetual rival.
