In the midst of a frequent monster assault on the city, Silk and her companions venture too close to the chaos to observe better. Tragically, their ill-fated vantage point results in UFO-man, the metropolis's towering guardian, inadvertently squashing the girls to their demise. Wracked with guilt, UFO-man attributes their demise to the monster and pledges to revive Silk and her friends by bestowing them with his abilities. The twist? They are now entrusted with the duty of safeguarding the city alongside him.
