Following their victory in the domestic preliminary round, Lisa, Lorna, and Soichi represent Japan in the prestigious ex-Driver world race competition in Los Angeles. Their arrival is marred by a dangerous encounter with a rogue AI car, leading to scrutiny from the local police. Complicating matters, the daughter of the US team's sponsor, Angela, goes missing, a fact that Lorna links to the earlier AI car incident. As Soichi sets out to rescue Angela, he himself becomes a captive, only to discover Angela beside him. Trapped in a warehouse, Soichi unravels a sinister plot tying the incidents to illicit gambling within the race. Now, he must devise a daring escape plan to safeguard Angela and expose the corruption lurking within the competition.
