After their fantastical journey through The Universe of the Four Gods, Miaka Yuuki and Yui Hongo return to their normal lives, but Miaka breaks the rules by bringing Tamahome into the real world with her. However, their joy is short-lived as Tamahome mysteriously vanishes while visiting the graves of their fellow travelers from the book. Determined to find him, Miaka's brother and his friend join her quest. Meanwhile, Tamahome finds himself back in the book after 50 years, having swapped lives with his old foe Nakago. Can Miaka and Tamahome overcome these new obstacles to be together again, or will fate keep them apart? In a separate adventure, the Celestial Warriors and their priestesses embark on a bus trip to a special hot spring resort, where playful antics lead to unexpected surprises.
