Bandai Channel's website revealed the upcoming adaptation of Petit Eva ~Evangelion@School~, a whimsical take on Neon Genesis Evangelion in super-deformed style. Set in Nerv School within Tokyo-3, Principal Gendō Ikari and Misato-sensei oversee a cast of familiar faces reimagined as classmates. This spinoff playfully parodies the original's intense themes, featuring multiple Rei 'sisters,' a mischievous EVA-01 now a schoolyard bully named Evanchō, and the Jet Alone robot reimagined as JA-ko, a shy android girl. With character designs by Ryuusuke Hamamoto, the project spawned humorous manga strips in various magazines. Not stopping there, Petit Eva also launched a line of super-deformed merchandise, including quirky figurines and even special Doritos corn chips.
