Many decades have passed since the legendary hero Bartz and his comrades saved Planet R from the malevolent Exdeath by safeguarding its vital crystals. However, a new threat emerges when the sorcerer Ra Devil steals the Earth, Fire, and Water Crystals, aiming to obtain the Wind Crystal to awaken the destructive deity Deathgyunos. Linaly, a fledgling summoner and Bartz's descendant, resides with her grandfather Hassam. When Hassam embarks on a quest to protect the Wind Crystal after a foreboding warning, Linaly insists on joining him. Along their journey, they cross paths with Prettz, a boisterous yet kind-hearted swordsman who joins them for enigmatic reasons. When Hassam is wounded in a fierce battle, Linaly must now step up to secure the Wind Crystal, with Prettz standing by her side as her steadfast guardian in their hazardous quest.
