After completing his three-year training, Shobu reunites with his friends to compete in the Battle Arena tournament. Their joy is short-lived as a formidable new adversary, Zakira, and his group, the Fua Duelists, emerge. Zakira, a skilled kaijudo duelist akin to Hakuoh, captures and corrupts Hakuoh, turning him against Shobu.
