As the majority of the smaller Pokémon drift off to sleep, Togepi suddenly awakens and, captivated by a flock of airborne Pokémon, unwittingly strays from its companions. Sensing Togepi's absence, Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Venonat, Marill, and Psyduck embark on a quest to locate the wayward Togepi. Their journey leads them to encounter Elekid, who guides them to a cluster of Exeggcute. Among these Exeggcute, a lone member mourns its missing egg, convinced that Togepi is the absent piece. Determined to reunite the lost egg with its rightful owner, the group braves a tempest that threatens to whisk Togepi and the Exeggcute away into the unknown.
