Continuing from the aftermath of Tagami Keisei's demise, six months have passed as Kagami Ouri fulfills Keisei's final wish by forming a pact with Makina to prevent her descent into a Shikabane. Ouri dedicates himself to monk training, aiming to support Makina in her battle against the ruthless Shichisei, the group responsible for the tragedies befalling Makina, the Hoshimura clan, and Keisei. Amidst the turmoil, the treacherous monk Shishidou Akasha aligns with the Shichisei, plotting the annihilation of all Shikabane Hime and the Kougon Sect that commands them.
